UNKNOWN ASIA is an international artist-led fair where artists from Japan and other Asian countries gather in Osaka. Launched in 2015, 1,497 artists have participated to date, and 13,111 people visited the fair over three days in 2023, making it increasingly recognized as one of the largest-scale fairs in western Japan. In this event, I received 3 Judges Awards.
Over 50 emerging and professional artists from Singapore and overseas push the boundaries of the GIF, experimenting with various modern technologies.
A programme of workshops, talks, inspiration sessions and panel discussions takes place throughout the duration.

In 2024, my work ended up blinking across digital billboards throughout Australia, thanks to Ellii from Artcrush Gallery. Slotted between fast food ads and political campaigns, it felt less like an exhibition and more like a quiet glitch in the city’s routine. Just how it should be.
In 2023, Evgeniya Romanidi curated an immersive exhibition at The Theatre of Digital Art Dubai, featuring works by artists such as Riniifish, Skohr, and others. The show transformed the space into a continuous flow of moving images and sound, blurring the lines between artwork and environment. My work was part of this shared experience, marking a first step into the world of immersive exhibitions.
